WWDC Day 1

The queue for the keynote started at 8pm on Sunday night by 6.30 am on Monday when I arrived due to my being unable to sleep it was 3 sides of a block around the Moscone centre.  The wait was good natured and sort of fun in a masochistic way.  The keynote had a couple of surprises FaceTime, iBooks update for the use PDF  which has huge implications for education.  In fact some of the more interesting stuff came after the keynote in developer sessions where the improvements iOS4 and in the developer tools look fantastic.  Of and I forgot - iMovie for iPhone - brilliant absolutely brilliant.
